Klickitat County Extension provides up-to-date research-based information on a wide range of topics that affect you, from improving the quality of the water you drink, to child and elder care, to selecting plants for landscaping in your part of the state.
GED Testing Information -
GED testing services are offered by WSU-Klickitat County Extension at 116 E Main St. Goldendale, WA. Call 509-773-5817 or e-mail klickitat@wsu.edu for an appointment. Most testing is conducted between 1 PM and 5 PM on Fridays, but other times may be available by request. Testing is not conducted every Friday; call first to confirm. The testing fee is $75 for the five-test series, with $10 per test for re-testing ($15 for the writing re-test). By federal policy, WSU-Klickitat County Extension cannot offer GED test preparation services because it is a testing entity. For GED testing preparation, contact your nearby community college, public library or Employment Security office; some preparation materials are also available on the Internet.

Upcoming Event Information
"Eating Outside The Box" - 4-H Food Project activity
Participants will learn about basic food handling safety and nutrition, how to prepare a simple dish, learn about foods activities at county and state fair, explore fun table-setting themes and more!
Please call the Extension office at 509-773-5817 no later than Friday, January 15 to pre-register for this free workshop. Participants will need to bring an apron. Food supplies will be provided.
